Am trying to link my pc to plasma with painful results.
have v good spec on pc and the g/card has duel DVI output (xfx6800geforce)
but the picture has very few colours and very patchy the cable is a 10 m DVI
which i suspect is part of the problem. Can the signal be boosted or do i just pay for a high quality DVI to sort this out? any help would be greatly appresieated.

    SKIN

Cheap DVi cables are fine for short runs, however for longer lengths you'll experience problems such as sparklies as data is lost/corrupted and there isnt error correction as far as I am aware.
You'll probably have to spring for a better cable... however Im not sure you should be experiencing SUCH loss in quality...
