Is it worth installing some kind of back light behind a wall mounted Plasma ?

I have my PHD42 wall mounted, and the light source generally used is a tall floor lamp with 3 diffused bulbs. This is in a corner on the same wall as the plasma.

I normally watch films in the dark, but seem to remember reading somewhere that Plasma's look better with a degree of soft back lighting?

I would want the light to be hidden up behind the top of the screen if possible.

Does anybody have any views on this, and reccomendations for a suitable light if advised :lease:

    Cheers,

    Adam

Soft backlighting is generally recommended for any direct view display - that would include plasmas.
