Backing up DVD collection onto RDXS32

    Anyone offer advice on whether i can back up my DVD collection onto my Tosh RDXS32 hard-drive or disk

    I understand that you can buy a scart lead which gets around macrovision - will this same lead work with pre-recorded DVDs.

    Yes it will. However what you need to do is play the DVD with the output fed into an input socket, but you will not be able to do anything on the machine during the process as if a meny pops up for example - it will go into the recording. Also, I think the Tosh does not have RGB in so you will be stuck using SVideo or Composite and will lose quality as a result.

    The tosh does have an RGB input.

    Where is the best and cheapest place to buy such a lead

    I think it does have RGB in ? And it's selectable.
