Anyone else waiting for these puppies? have you heard the latest info about them??
1,2 & 3 as a box set released this Summer.
Rent JP3 from Blockbuster and see the advert!
cant wait, BTTF2 is a great film
Have read that they have been delayed again, put back till 2003. But this is no confirmed yet officially.
I am hoping this is just a rumour and not the case.
I heard that rumour also,
Point is that because the movies have been delayed for over 4 years after x many promises from Universal and anonymous sources, people are getting a little bit suspicious about the DVD trailer which clearly states "Summer 2002" yet nothing has been officially marked on the Universal site or any of it's daughter sites.
Bob Gale (one of the writers of BTTF) took part in an interview for www.bttf.com recently and stated that remastering of the first movie has been completed (again) and that work was going to take place on the next 2 before the end of January. If HE expects the movies this year and Universal pull the plug they'll more than likely be ****ing the wrong person off.
It's not on Universal's release schedule, well at least up to June anyway, looks like you will probably be waiting till at least september (or if the rumours are true 2003), shame coz they are all great films and Universal will make a packet when they finally release them.

eFilmCritic.com reports all three BTTF DVDs will be released on August 20, 2002.
If your going to dig up a BTTF thread, why not one by Marty McFly
Back To The Future as most know will get a Blu-Ray trilogy release on 25th October 2010.
On 1st October the original film will get a limited time cinema release also.
> New Cinema Release Trailer
Blockbuster has it available to pre-order for £33.99
Saw the whole trilogy on Sky Movies HD this week, really enjoyed it. Been quit a while since I actually saw these.
The original film will be re-released in cinemas on October 1

EDIT: sorry rai I didn't read your entire post... that's a double whammy of great news!
A bit more info on the cinema release.
'Back to the Future' to Hit Theaters Again ... But Only in the UK - Cinematical
Great. I wouln't mind watching this at the cinema again.
Awesome, ill be going to see it
Back on the big screen after 25 years and shown in Digital, can't wait to see this, hope they do justice on the soundtrack....
Thread for this also here
I searched for "future" and it didn't find the thread, so made one
second page and then second one down the list not that I've personally got a problem with there being multiple threads on the subject
Wish they did a back to the future marathon I would love to sit through all 3 at the cinema just like the halloween nights but i'll be there for the first one for sure "Let's see if you bastards can do 90"
Anyone know if this is going to be fixed to one particular cinema chain or will most good theaters be showing it?
i know cineworld will be showing it as they have the posters up already
YouTube - Back to the Future Re-Release 25th Anniversary Trailer (HD)
I saw this trailer at Cineworld earlier this month and it look absolutely brilliant, clean and crisp. I'm sure the blu ray will be pretty much reference disc judging from the trailer I saw.
My local Vue have just today put up the showing times
Now do I see it 21.10 this Friday or wait till next wednesday and do the 241.
What I do with my mates is we tend to watch two different films on wednesdays, one pays for each.
I'm thinking I might go Friday... only 3 sleeps to go
Really looking foward to this
Shame that the BTTF ride closed down at Universal Studios. I'm sure it would have been really popular about now
I saw this yesterday on a Vue Xtreme screen, as part of a advanced-screening competition.
Its awesome! - ive always had a softspot for back to the future.. although being i was 3 when this came out at the cinema so have only seen it when its been on TV or these "VHS" things lol...
Ive just ordered the bluray box set too
Went to a screening last night.
Packed house and the audience was fantastic. Not even two little brats a few seats down could ruin it.
Went to see this last night with the family. The kids weren't born when I first saw this back in 1985 so it was good to revisit this on the big screen with them.
