Saw this listed on the Official BTTF website a few months ago, it will just be the same 3 Film discs that are already available along with a 4th Disc which will include all the Deleted Scenes, Interviews, Music Video etc which were missed off the R2/4 releases but which were included on the R1 release.

Due to the film discs being the same as the originals dont expect any better picture quality and the commentaries for BTTF2 and 3 will still be missing.

Also worth mentioning is that the UK release isnt until November but DVDCrave have the R4 release down for October and even with shipping it works out about £3 cheaper than Play.com

2nd and 3rd commentaries still missing? Have you got confirmation for this? What a gip if its true.

Since the press release back in June there hasent been a confirmed spec anounced but this is what the press release said...

London — Sources at Universal Pictures International Video have provided BTTF.com an exclusive preview at their Back to the Future™ 4-Disc Collector’s Set being released outside North America this October.

"This 4-disc set will consist of the original trilogy discs (x3) plus an additional new bonus disc (content only released in US previously)," stated our UIP rep back in March.

"This will be a 4 disk set, but there’s nothing in it that wasn’t in ours," adds writer/producer Bob Gale, comparing the set to the 2002 domestic R1 release. "The films were released originally with fewer special features because they included a DTS soundtrack. So their Disk 4 includes the material that wasn’t originally in any of theirs (including Secrets of the BTTF Trilogy, Power of Love Music Video, and the Deleted scenes which include my commentary – the commentary wasn’t in the previous version.)"

It would be nice if they remastered the film discs taking all the extra features and putting everything on the 4th Disc which would mean they could include the commentaries as well as the DTS tracks and maybe abit more bitrate for the films but I doubt they will, its alot easier to just press off more of the same discs with new artwork than to completely redo them, after all they have already had to redo BTTF2 and 3 (twice in the case of 3) to sort out the framing errors.
