    Hurray,

For all those B5 fans, like myself, it's to be rerun from beginning to end, as of January or February 2002!

Bravo, of all stations, has now purchased the rights to air all 5 seasons, and hopefully, the original edit of the Pilot Movie "The Gathering", as well!

It should hopefully, also air the same uncut versions, that the Sci-Fi channel aired last time around.

    Wahey!!!

Thats great news pooch, but do you have any news of a release on dvd for babylon 5? For years, I'v heard rumours of episodes being released onto laserdisc which never happened and as much as I enjoyed watching it on the sci fi channel, would much rather watch it on dvd as I'v gotten fed up of the soft, grainy picture of cable not to mention the numerous advert breaks.

It was one series I never managed to get in to and not through a lack of trying I might add!!

However, I will give it another shot, just in case I missed "The Plot" so to speak.

Zone - do try and make the time to watch this series. It has to be one of my most favourite TV productions of all time.

The whole series is like a novel - there is a definite "arc" from beginning to end, and the character developments are truly spectacular for a TV series.

    An excellent (and different) sci-fi series IMO. :) :) :) :)

Did the arc even finish at the end of Babylon 5? Isn't it set to continue with the upcoming Rangers TV-movie/pilot/series (whatever). Not to mention the ill-fated Crusade. It will go on forever.

I did hear rumours of B5 DVD boxsets soon... will have to check that out.

Checked it out on DVD Times, and:

    Babylon 5 - Region 1, out 4th of December

'(Featuring the first season pilot "The Gathering" and the fifth season pilot "In the Beginning." "The Gathering" will be a revamped cut, as broadcast on TNT in the US.'

"In the Beginning" will be in widescreen. Play are taking pre-orders. Not a box set, which would have been best. But it's a start.

    £13.99 by the way...

    Heh heh :)

The plot certainly did spring a few surprises on you didn't it?

But they were never just twists and turns for the sake of it were they?

Damn, I really miss this programme :(
