    So who's rushing out today to get their Region 2 copy of the boxset? :thumbsup: :cool: I've been waiting for this set since April '04 :mad:

    A major :thumbsdow to WB for making us wait so long for the the final season, Region 1 had theirs 2 weeks before we got the Region 2 release of B5 Season 4. :rolleyes:

    Anyways as of today my evening's viewing is sorted for the next couple of weeks. :smashin:

    I ask myself the same question :rolleyes: but the main reason is that the rest of my TV series collection is R2 so I wanted to keep them consistent. Having said that, my movie collection boxset (5 disc) and initial movie releases (double sided DVD) are Region 1 because they are either better value or have more features than their R2 equivalents. :blush:

    I have one more episode left of season 4 to watch but I'm going to wait until the price drops before purchasing season five.

    a couple of weeks!! you can do a TV boxset in 3 or 4 evenings!!!* do you have on stamina man!!! :laugh:

    Enjoy it dude, if my memory serves me right its a cracking season of the most underatred sci fi show ever - really :censored: on star trek.

    Heh I have been known to watch previous seasons in about 4 evenings but I thought I would pace myself with this one as this is the last boxset and then I'll have to start at the beginning again :p

    I certainly will enjoy it :D my main enjoyment comes from the long story arcs spread over the entire 5 year length of the series. Something that ST:TNG never did and I think was only brought in from ST:DS9 onwards in order to compete with the likes of B5.

    The B5 S5 UK R2 dvd appears to have a missed few minutes of the Fall of the centauri prime episode recap and titles at the beginning. I read this in other forums. Looks like you will have to phone Warners again

    The quickest I've watched a TV DVD box set of 22 episodes is three months for Babylon 5 season 4... The longest is 19 months for Angel season one.

    You're really right about Babylon 5 being underrated especially when it :censored: over Star Trek from a great height, then pulling down its trousers and mooning it. :laugh:

    does anyone know if the R1 version is complete ? on my last few episodes of season 4 and was stretching it out until season 5 was released

    Have to admit I havent watched my copy of Season 5 for a few months now but I am pretty sure it was all there and on another forum someone said they had checked there set and it was fine.

    Does anybody know if there were any problems with the Australian season five box-set of Babylon 5? With the news that the UK versions are missing certain parts I would rather buy a PAL box-set if possible.


    No I am not a public sector worker GaryD but with all the Sky TV, and DVD movies to watch as well as TV DVDs it's hard to find time to fit everything in. Plus I like to stretch it out, to savour the episodes and also by doing this I don't have to pay full price when the next box-set is released. Saving me money to buy even more DVDs :D

    Is it just me, or is there more dirt and sparkle than on previous seasons :mad: . It certainly never jumped out at me before, but as has been commented on elsewhere it is a while since S.4 was released. Any views?

    To me both seasons 4 & 5 picture quality seem to be below that of the previous 3 seasons.

    Any one else considering asking Warner Bros for the new style packaging for thier old style 1 - 3 packaging?

    I haven't seen the quality of season five yet but found three and four far superior to the first two seasons. in particular I found season one extremely poor visually.
