4K UHD version arrived from Amazon today - yay. Haven't sat down to watch it but I did spot one issue. Though I don't particularly care for Ultraviolet as a format, this package is supposed to come with a UV code. And it's not included, there's no insert, just the 2 disks. Anyone else had this happen to them? If so, how do you reach someone in Amazon about it? The only option available that I can find would be to return the entire thing - there doesn't seem to be any way to connect with someone from customer support, unless I'm missing something.

Totally agree about the audio being the star here, the way the action is choreographed to the music is brilliant.

      Thoroughly entertaining film.

Return for replacement is the only way you would get a code.
Return shipping will be free. It's the same as if the BD or UHD was missing from the pack, amazon can't supply you the missing thing on it's own. Mine arrived from amazon today with a code insert which it should have as it's on the case.

Looking forward to picking this up as it made for a near-perfect night at the cinema. The Hocus-Pocus footchase scene was dazzling. The only minor piont is that any scene with Kevin Spacey and Baby feels like something horrible is about to happen since stories about Spacey's personal life have broke.

Watched this not too bad a movie better than I thought it would be.
Not a movie for continuing viewing, more seen that move on to the next, kind of like most movies these days just collect dust on the shelves, once you seen a movie thats it, not like music where you can listen to same songs a lot

^ couldn't disagree more personally. Movie highlight of the year so far for me, so much more than the generic superhero crap. And given it borders on being a musical of sorts, with an ace soundtrack, this only adds to the repeat value.

The movie is great, but yes,PQ is just so-so.I just couldnt see a big upgrade from the Blu-Ray,even the HDR was subdued.Maybe it is my TV,but some UHD blu-rays look really superior, even with a 2k master, while others, like GOG 2,are too dim.

Watched this last night, great movie with fantastic Atmos track.
Few scenes with spacey & Baby that felt a bit creepy given recent events.
Definitely a movie to watch more than once.

Does anyone know if the standard BD has the Atmos mix ? If so might plump for that.

Although I do not own this I have seen that the Atmos track is held for UHD.

Saw it in cinema when it first came out... liked it, but doubt I'd buy it as it doesn't strike me as something I'd want to rewatch or havd handy to play for others...

It was refreshing to see a non-awkward romance between two young people... rare in movies these days...

While the UHD has a bit better colour and picture than the blu-ray there is not a lot in it imo. Resolution wise both the UHD and blu-ray seem softish and lacking in fine detail to me. Although the Atmos soundtrack on the UHD sounds better than the DTS HD on the blu-ray.

I am also not sure about this film. Im referring to the blu ray version. In the opening scenes the sound is very odd with the rear speakers accentuated to the point of drowning out the front soundstage. My system is a high end 5.2 arrangement. I also found it difficult to warm to the characters although this did improve as the film unfolded. Not sure what to make of it at the moment.

Very enjoyable movie.

Saw it at the cinema & absolutely loved it,
Watched it again last night on UHD & still really enjoyed it again.
The sound design is a work of art & I thought it looked gorgeous too, especially after what I’ve been hearing people say about the transfer.
      Awesome film 9/10
P/Q 8/10 - not something I’d use to show friends the benefits of HDR but a lovely filmic image for me
      S/Q - 10/10 - perfect really

Watched Baby Driver for the first time last night and was surprised at how little I was engaged with it. Sure, it's a really cool film and technically brilliant, but that seemed to be all it had to offer. Good, but not great. Pity, as I love Edgar Wright's films.

Hi guys, I do agree with raymondo. I personally found the characters difficult to warm to. For me this made the film into a technical tour de force but with limited human interest. I also want to correct my earlier post. I have recently acquired a Meridian 861 surround processor and plumbing this in sonically has been tricky. The loud rear problem I referred to was due setup issues and not at all a problem with sound track which is very dynamic and entertaining.

Watched this film this weekend. Really enjoyed it as an overall spectacle. The character development was far too weak to pull off the long final act but still a great film worth watching.

PQ wise I thought it was fine. It's the most "normal" looking UHD film I've seen so far; it just looks "natural". I thought the black levels were very good and the specular highlights / wide colour gamut look great in the outdoor scenes. Quite a few overly soft shots, particularly closeups which are a bit jarring from time to time. It's the sort of image that you can forget you are watching HDR, then switch back to SDR after turning the film off and realise how dull SDR looks!

The audio is the best attribute if the film/disc imo.

I wish more films were mastered like this; for once the soundtrack / dialogue is given equal presence to effects. It's a joy to be able to watch an entire film without turning the volume up and down every 5 minutes!
