B7, E7 or B7 with sound bar?

I don't use my 5.1 system atm. I have a denon avr3806 and b&w m1s and pv1 all bought the back end of 2005.

The receiver will no doubt need updating when I bring this back into use, but I won't be doing so for a while.

I was looking at a b7 but am worried the sound may be disappointing. Would an e7 be a better bet or stick with s b7 and get a decent sound bar?

As en E6 owner, the sound is ok, and better than most TV's but that's not a very difficult thing to achieve.

If you want good sound with a bit of oomph then a dedicated soundbar will be better.

However, it may not look as nice as an E7 setup, and if you're wall mounting, a separate soundbar is more hassle to hide cables. The only other main difference it seems between B7/E7 this year is the look and design. The E7 being picture on glass like the E6... whether that matters is subjective.

B7+Soundbar is going to be cheaper and sound better but may not look as clean.

A sound bar will give better sound than the E7, noticeably so. The E6 is not bad for a modern TV and everyday use.
The picture quality is seemingly the same in the 7 series it seems.
But the E7 styling is so gorgeous IMO
