I've not heard them yet but they were highly recommended by a dealer who was expecting some in at the weekend. He said he preferred them to the KEF eggs. I would be interested in any impressions you had as I am seriously thinking of getting some - the Denon 3802 was top of my list as the driver for them too...

What price were they going for?

    Cheers

i think the price for total package inc sub is £850- they can be purchased seperatly at £125(vm1) and the sub at £225

derekrcross, do you have a picture of your speaker set up, curious to what they look like in a real life set up?

also can the vm1 be layed sideways across the top of your tv, and how much space do they take?

oh...and how much did you pay for your speakers?

    cheers:cool:

The vm1 can be mounted horizontally or vertically and is designed to be either a centre or a surround. I was advised to get a rel q150 rather than the as1 sub, but for the moment I'm going to go with the as1.

I ordered my vm1 set and a 3802 the other day, I don't need them until I move into my new place though. I compared the vm1, kef eggs and fs2-av speakers but to be honest it was the styling I went for. I think the vm1 are the better speakers of the set but only slightly better than the eggs, I'm no expert though, in fact I'm almost deaf in one ear so someone elses opinion is probably more useful :)

But damn, they look sexy :D

    Seen them, need more :)

I would like to see some in a real environment, not a shop, and not in an arty farty room set up to make the speakers look nice.

Not that it matters, I've ordered mine already. I would just like to see some real world pics in someone elses house :)

My VM1 set, AS1 and Denon 3802 arrived today. They are currently boxed and I won't be setting them up until I move into my new place on the first of next month.

Might take one out of the box and get some good close up pictures of it later.
