Has any body here got the B&W VM1 (or even demoed) it?
I would like some compact speakers and obviously the KEF eggs mk2 are on the list as well. How do they compare?

Have you tried the search facility on the site as I just input VM1 and came up with loads of threads.

The VM1s are superb in my opinion and easily outclass the Kef eggs, although they are quite a bit larger.

Not meaning to poach this thread but we have a set of 5 B&W VM1's (white) and an MJ Acoustics Pro 50 (Black) subwoofer for £650 all in.

    Crusty,
You don't do the same deal for the silver finish VM1's, do you? And do you ship them?
    Cheers,
    Jim

No sorry jim, it's just that we have an excess of white VM1s, caused by a cancelled order. Regardless of colour though it's a package that sounds great, especially with the sub thrown in for almost nothing. We do ship to Belfast via Amtrak. They charge £20.80 for up to 10kgs then £1.00 per additional kg.

    Balders,
They're yours if you want them. I'm afraid it's silver or bust for our lounge (i.e. my wife). Looks like a great deal, though, if you don't mind white.

Thanks Rainbow, Crusty - I've had a look at the VM1s and they are a bit igger than I wanted. I'll probably try to audition them alongside the eggs at some point, and so if I'm won over by them, I'll get back to you Crusty.

Somehow I don't think they'll be around long though!

    Balders.
