It seems that a hell of a lot of you have B&W speakers in your setups. Am I missing something?
I take it you all compared them against other types?
    I'm a KEF man myself.
I know a few others have gone the Mission route, but it just seems that B&W have the monopoly.

    General,
I have owned B&W and KEF speakers for A/V use and have to say in my opinion there is not a lot in it between the two.So i dont think you are missing to much in terms of sound quality as both are excellent manufacturers.
I use Kefs at the moment that are about the same price as the B&W equivalents, and to better the sound i think i would have to spend at least another £1000,thats how good both are.

    Cheers.
I've never actually heard B&W, just know what I read and reputation that's upheld by a lot of people.
    I really don't have a complex! [IMG]

I recently joined the B&W appreciation society. To tell you the truth I listened to Mission Kefs and B&W's. There wasn much in it but when I listened to them the B&W's sounded more detailed...

    The Missions were also fantastic.

I perhaps didnt give enough time to the KEFS, (Q's)

But to be honest each to their own, all the manufacturers must think they have the best product, so its all personal choice.
