I have been burning slides and prints to cd (all JPEG files) to play through my TV, all working fine. However I have recently included some old B & W prints amongst the colour ones. These will play thro' my computer. However my stand alone player (panasonic S35) will not read them. I get message 'canot read file' whenever a B&W slide comes up.

I use Photostudio 5 or Adobe Photoshop, and Roxio.

Anyone got any ideas that will help me solve this please ?

Panasonic's help line just suggeted I take it back to the dealer. He'd love that since there is nothing wrong with it!

are you scanning your black and whites in grey scale you might have to convert them back into RGB for them to show on colour TV

Yes, photos scanned as greyscale. Will try your suggestion. Many thanks.

The solution is either scan and convert to RGB, or scan as colour item. Either work.
