    The 803s are awfully nice.

    Depending on your requirements you should probably also check out B&W Signature 805s which which are also awfully nice, but in a different way.

    Very much depends on your own preferences,but for my ears,the Nautilus would get the vote...you may also want to listen to Wilson Benesch's offerings in that price range.

    Or N805's with HNE granite stands (that really add tight and extended bass) and a great sub.

    Then put any money saved towards a top notch amp.

    Interesting.I did wonder about getting a plinth for my sub as my set up is upstairs and placed on floorboards not concrete.
