Hello,

Before doing YPAO calibration, I did the sub setting to the following

Volume: slightly below midway
Crossover: as high as the dial will allow or set to the LFE setting if present
Phase: 0°
Auto power: disengaged and set so that the sub is permantly on

After calibration, at YPAO "Natural PEQ ", ypao selects bass cross over frequency to 60 hz

I wanna ask 3 questions

1)Is the 60HZ brass crossover frequency is the rt or shall i change it to 120 hz, I am confused,,,,will 60 hz setting at brass crossover will strain the M1?

2) which ypao equalizer setting is good for the above csetting, its has following options
ypao flat
ypao natural
ypao through
ypao front
Ypao Manual

3) which mode to use on Avr
Spectacle
dolby pro logic
neo:6
drama
straight
7-Channel

Thanks in advance

regards
Rachit

The Crossover point will not 'strain' your Loudspeakers - they simply won't produce any output below the range they are capable of.

The Crossover point is not a 'hard' cut - experiment with the options your AVR offers and decide using your ears if one setting is better than the others in your room with your kit.

Yamaha YPAO - like all of these systems is not infallible, again experiment, compare modes and also try entering speaker values manually.

Listening Modes - usually you want Direct.
