please help i need some advice !!!
    i currently have 2 x b&w 603 s3 front lcr600 s3 centre and two vm1's rear i also have a asw675
i am thinking of selling the lcr600 centre due to the size,( finding it hard to position) and i was wondering what a vm1 would sound like as the centre with the 603's do you think it will be a miss match??
i did consider going for 5 vm1's but i dont think they would sound as good with music as my 603's

    thanks

    jason

The LCR600 is an awesome centre speaker, with identical mid/bass unit as your 603s3.Visually they are a perfect match too!It would be silly to replace it with a VM1 as it will no doubt be sonically inferior to the lcr600.Do you place the centr speaker above your TV?Most TVs can accomodate centres of that size, just blu tack it down to the top of the TV set!If you must downgrade, then go for the LCR60 which uses smaller 13cm drivers but the LCR600 is definately the best match.

My folks'. Was going to get my own but ran out of money and dropped backed to just a 2.1 setup for uni.

    It's a fantastic speaker. I doubt you'll be satisfied using a VM1 instead, Jason.

well getting a plasma so that rules out putting it on top!!!
if you think i am mad getting rid of it for a vm1 my only option is to wall mount my plasma which could be a pain due to plasterboard walls :(
sorry monkeyboy looks like i will keep it

    Hi Jason

What are the VM1's like as rear speakers complimenting the B&W 603s at the front... I'm thinking of doing a similar setup but i have B&W 601s.

    Thanks
