Yup, B&W will help you out...around 28 quid ISTR...

Failing that, buy a new pair of audax tweeters... you will find a model that fits.

Also, you would be surprised to see many B&W drive units on ebay!

Well phoned B&W today , said that there was no chance in getting a replacement pair from them as the speakers were discontinued in 1986!

recommended couple of places called Wilmslow audio and Wembley Audio

I guess i will try them and pursue the Audax tweeters , however i don't really want to change the sound of the speakers too much

Keep watching ebay... they do appear... as do complete 110's at a good price!

Wilmslow Audio are top guys and have been at it for years. They will know your 110s and be able to tell you on the phone what will fit...

I have a pair of B&W DM110is, and I agree they're well worth repairing and keeping. I've bought more expensive speakers since, and regretted it. I've never heard a better pair without spending a LOT more. I saw a pair sell on eBay for £137 recently (about the same I paid in 1985) and they're very good value at that.

Just because B&W don't have any instock doesn't mean you should give up. Contact their bigger dealers (ie Practical Hi-Fi, Sevenoaks, etc) because they may well have stock gathering dust.
