I've just brought a CDM CNT centre speaker but my TV stand won't fit the speaker below the TV and the TV is too small to fit the speaker above it.

How have other buyers positioned the speaker?
Can anyone suggest an appropriate TV stand to cope with the large centre?
Would positioning the speaker below the TV but angled towards the listener be a good solution?

I used to have one of these. They're huge aren't they!
In the end my only option was a wall mounted bracket above the T.V

The av-furniture manufacturor Stand-design also makes stands especially for big centerspeakers which have to be placed on top of the tv. Shouldn't be hard to get in the UK as they are UK-based.

Placement underneath your tv is also an option but always try to place the center with the tweeters at the same height as the tweeters of the fronts for the best results.

    Best regards,

    Patrick

yep - the B+W CDM is an awkward shape but its a good centre speaker.

I bought from the local diy shop some bits of wood to make a bookshelf
(you know the type - simple pinewood stuff) and then just used the bits
to make a |_| shape (turn the other way up and spay black) which fitted
neatly over the top of my tv.

I did find that positioning the speaker below produced a somewhat coloured
    sound for my situation.
