Hi, can any of you experts help out a newbie please. Does anyone know much about the B&W ASW!000 sub. I have been offered a used one for £200 and wondered what you guys thought?? Is it good value or too old and too big and too much £ for my set up???

    Marantz SR5200, Pioneer DV535, Arcam CD72, B&W 602S3's,B&W CDMCSE, Mission 77ds rears.

The ASW 1000 is now discontinued but the one that you have been offered could be less than two years old. I have never heard one but reviewers in both Home Cinema Choice and Home Entertainment liked it with one saying that it was a good alternative to the REL Q100 which was high praise indeed.

£200 would seem reasonable value and it isn't too powerful for your system at all.
