b+w asw 1000 sub question

    i have been offered this sub off a mate for £150 it's 13 months old .
    is there a better alternative for the price new or s/h.

    You cannot buy a decent sub new for £150 and even second hand you have to be quite lucky. The normal rule of thumb for selling something just over a year old is to try for 60% of the new price. As this was a £500 sub the price that you have been offered is a very good one and you would have to be very lucky to find a better deal for that sort of money

    If you do not want it there are probably a couple of people on here who would, it is a good price and I am assuming you know if its been looked after as he is a mate.

    sorry chaps i bought it and it has been looked after
    so purchases so far adding to my stereo, jmlabs centre and rears b and w sub pioneer dv939 and marantz 4300 on dem but the lot so far has only tots up to £1000.
    quite resonable and everything with a 3 yr warranty, except the sub of course now for some serious blade 1 and 2 .
