    Hi there,
Does anybody have any opinion / experience with Denon AVR-3802 driving B&W 802 Matrix III ?
And how is the stereo perfromance of the 3802 ?
I intend to buy a receiver or amplifier, surround speakers will follow later, I guess, but just now I have the 2 B&W's.
I keep hearing that you must buy a much better receiver or amplifier in order not to 'insult' the B&W's but I wonder if you really can't enjoy your music (4000 cd's, classical music) using the Denon ?
    Help !!!!
    Thanks everybody

I think the 3802 is a nice musical amp.I also feel you'll enjoy good music when coupled with the B&W's.
However B&W have been noted to have very low min Impedence.
Not to be confused with the nominal rating of about 8ohms.Lots of the larger B&W's go down to 3 ohms.
You really have to look at what sort of current the amp can put into 3ohms,otherwise you maybe losing some bass control.
    Regards
