B&W - 683's vs CM10's

Hello -

I am looking to upgrade my set of B&W 683's tower speakers and HTM61 center channel. I auditioned the CM10's (only towers) and they sounded beautifully. I was wondering if anybody has listened to those two models 600 vs CM10's and what has been your experience? Is it worth the $3500 upgrade? I will be actually trading in my 683's.

I have a Denon x4000. Will that be enough power for the CM speakers? By the way, I have 2 SVS SB-2000 subs.

20% - Movies.

Thank you.

Err, I can only say yes! Especially when its the S1 683s. Clarity across the board. Less cabinet resonance. Some say its close to the old pre Diamond 800s. While you're at it, get the fabulous CMC2S2.

Nah, get a nice powerful power amp. Maybe get that first. You may find the 683s and HTM61s are underdriven.
