Just got the B&W 602.5's and they come with the spikes. But I have a new wooden floor. The idea of punturing the wooden floor with the spikes is not an option so I am interested in what other people have done to combat this problem.
At the minute they are just sitting on the floor.

Put coins between the spikes and the floor :)

I have the B&W 603S3 and a wooden floor and to avoid damage the floor I put one coin under each spike.
I think without the spikes the sound is not so open as with the spikes.
Try for yourself and see if you notice some diference. If you don't, forget about the spikes.
