I use them as rears and they do a good job:clap:
I have a Denon AVC A11SR, but the 3801 have power enough to drive them with no problem.
Can't comment on prices as I live in Norway.

I use B&W 601's- I would recommend at least comparing bipoles/dipoes/tripoles as well as the 601's, especially if the side & rear speakers are close to the sofa.

I'm thinking of replacing my 601's to some bipoles.

ive got some mission 77DS at present, and dont like the way they are positioned next to the sofa, wanted some bookshelf type for the rear corners of the room.

    Hi,

I use 601s3's as surrounds and they are great, they are quite near to the listening position (about 1.5m @ head height) but are never intrusive. I've never tried di/bi-poles other than at the dealers though, so can't really compare the two in the real world.

I run mine with a 3802, with 602.5's and an LCR60 up front.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi.

I also use 601's as my rears. They sound good imo. Though as others have said it could be an idea to have a listen to some bipoles or ttripoles and see what you think.

I currently have them running with a 2011 a pair of Cdm1's and CdmCnt and they integrate nicely.

    Cheers,

    Hus
