Hi,
When we moved into our house there was a BeoLab 3500 mounted at the top of the wall in the living room - the cables have been plastered in.
We don't have anything directly compatible, but I'm looking at getting an Amazon Echo Dot to mount next to it as the bluetooth input. However I can't get another power cable up there without tearing the wall apart.
The BeoLab is powered by a standard figure of 8 power lead (already in place), and an Amazon Dot (or equivalent) will be either be USB or a round connector.
Does anyone have a source for getting a splitter that would take the figure of 8 as an input, and split it to the same, but with an additional connector to power a USB socket or - or have a suggestion of an alternative solution to get a bluetooth input - the key being that it is at ceiling height so I can't press any buttons on whatever is connected to it without a ladder, so needs to be set up permanently.
Thanks for any thoughts or advice!
