B c and d series samsung

I'm in the market for a 46" Samsung for bluray watching, gaming and 3d sport. I'm interested in the d7000. Is the tele a worthy purchase as I want an led tv and don't want to go down the plasma route. Also my friend has a 32" c6620 and I find the picture to be stunning would the d7000 be just as good. Any info appreciated. If there are better manufacturers let me know ie lg, Phillips and sharp

Just a note, its not the best for gaming (high input lag) and the viewing angles are average.
