    B and W CM9 S1 Black

I have sold my 5.1 Set up on here over the last week or so and have decided to add these to it.

The previous thread was getting very messy so have started a new one

These are in excellent condition no marks on the cabinet at all or the covers.

The not so good news is that both the tweeters have been pushed in.

I have been using them with the covers on and did not even realise they had been damaged so does not affect the sound.

I have spoken with B and W a replacement tweeter motor is £60.00 including postage and packaging. With that in mine I can reduce the price by £120.00 if anyone is interested. Price £775.00 not wanting to take any offers below this as I may as well keep them as they may be used in the future.

Last reduction to 710.00 change of circumstances.

I have the original box and if you look at the reviews you will see that these are fantastic sounding speakers

You can get them repaired very easily and if do not sale will consider doing this and keeping them.

As with all my set up I have sold these have hardly been used having had children I spend much of the time in a different room in fact not be used in the last 6 months so can not justify keeping it.

Please note that I can not deliver the CM9 these are very heavy

    Any questions let me know

Price and currency: 775.00 final reduction to £710.00
Delivery: Goods must be exchanged in person
Payment method: Bank transfer or paypal
    Location: Leicestershire
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I prefer the goods to be collected

By easy repair do you mean take to an authorised B&W repairer and they will have spares?

For what it's worth, I was watching a similar set on eBay, immaculate condition including tweeters, £970. There were no bids and I think that was a relist. Maybe it's the fact that they're S1 rather than S2. I guess the tweeters will put some off.

I remember a pair of s1's probably a year ago thay were in great condition (from memory anyway)
No tweeters pushed in and they were around the 900 mark.
Can't recall if they sold or not, they were in Preston I think.
Will try dig out the ad

Couldn' find the one bit here another that didn' sell

Thanks guys might consider getting twitters repaired and relisting or simply lower to cover cost of this ? These are cracking set of speakers though the tweeter damage does not in my opinion affect the sound

The tweeter itself isn' damaged. It' the foil that covers it.
I bought foils twice for some b and w's I had years ago.
Pretty simple to fix and I don't think they'e hard to obtain.
Got one from superfi and one from b and w direct

I had a quick Google, came across a YouTube how to replace tweeter, looks pretty straight forward. However looks like you have to replace the whole tweeter. Without researching too hard, so there could probably be cheaper alternatives, price was looking at around £75 each.
