Afternoon

Had a nightmare today - wife decided to throw a kids party yesterday and forgot to put covers on my b and w cm9 came home to both tweeters having been pushed in :(

Question does this sort of damage make much difference to the noise i.e. put covers on and forget about it or if it does any ideas how to get these repaired and what the cost may be.

Cheers for your help

Surely you just sell the children into slavery until you've raised enough cash?

I guess the real issue is how damaged they are. Do the cones move without grating? How do they sound? If they sound terrible and you are faced with fixing or replacing, what have you got to lose? Some people have had success with using a vaccuum cleaner to suck out the dome but you need some way of controlling the amount of suck you apply. Let us know how you get on: photos would be nice.

You can buy replacements from your dealer and can DIY or get your dealer to fit them. I Can't remember the exact price, around the £100 mark I think. Dealer shoud do it FOC, well mine did at that time.

Edit: Price is per tweeter

just ordered a pair from B and W 110.00 delivered :(
