Where is the balance control for the front speakers on the AX5i?
I've searched the manual but can't find it?

Come on, there are loads of AX5 owners out there and I know who you are...;)
I find it really odd that there doesn't appear to be a balance control.

    Brogan,

I've got the 1011 which I think is similar enough to say that there isn't a balance control.

Balance just changes the volume levels of each of the front l+r speakers which on these Pioneers is done through the MCACC system as are all of the other speaker sound levels.

    Thanks Leander.
That's the conclusion I came to but couldn't quite believe it...
It's crazy if that's the case.
I wanted to do a simple test between 2 phono interconnects by switching the balance from left to right - with 1 interconect connected to each speaker.
If I've got to go through the MCACC set-up screens it's not worth the bother...
