Darn this pesky forum.....

Just when you thought you had everything sorted - you read another thread!!!!!

I have just installed hidden(!) front XT350 cables with Airlocks.......

Would I have been better off foresaking the centre rear(s) and biamping the fronts??

I have very little depth behind the settee to mount a 3rd Mission 77DS as a centre rear and as yet this is 'untried'.

If I did bi-amp the fronts could I use a second run of XT350's?? or should I use dedicated cable?

Help

A second run of XT350 would be pefect, or you could even try XT400 for the bass to tighten it up a bit. Unless you have a large room I think that biamping your fronts would give you greater benefits than adding a sxith or seventh channel at the rear. The front left and right speakers are used considerably more than the rears and as such are subject to more noticeable improvements with better or more amplification.

Thanks Crustyloafer.

That just leaves me the problem of getting the (new) cables routed.......

Anyone else???

Anyone else

DO I DRILL YET ANOTHER HOLE FOR MORE CONCEALED WIRES TO BI-AMP THE FRONTS OR GO FOR THE CENTRE REAR (AND WISH THAT I HAD LAID ANOTHER CABLE TO MAKE IT 2 CENTRES RATHER THAN ONE)
