AX4ASi firmware issues..

Given the saga of the LFE issue and reported problems upscaling over HDMI (dark grainy) is it best to wait for the successor to this amp? I do really fancy it but is a replacement model with (hopefully) these issues addressed around the corner, or is it possible that in a month or two i'd be able to buy an AX4ASi with a more up to date firmware and issues fixed?

Given that the current AX4 and AX2 were available in September 2006, its not unreasonable to think that the new gen amps will be around this September...I'd like nothing more than to get an AX4 now but IMHO I think its best to wait.
