I am trying to get my aX10i to work with a DV-757Ai.

Picture is fine. However, after setting up ilink on the DVD player, and getting the 'little blue ilink indicator' to light up, as soon as I switch to play DVD it disappears, with the picture there, but no sound at all.

Anyone know what connections from back of DVD to AMP should be made with the optical cable to get this to work - and why I've got no sound ....... help ! Thanks

Um, I'm not digging, but iLink and Optical SPDIF are too entirely different things. If you have the amp set to iLink input and only have optical connected, then you won't get any sound.:suicide:

AFAIK If you use the correct IEE1394 cable between 757 and AX10i, then it is about as plug and play as you can get (well, as long as iLink is enabled on both bits:blush: )
