I fancied them for this game, have an idea they will be in the tournament for a while - possibly the semis.

A great group and even more exciting with this result, France now must beat Ireland or face the possibility an embarrasing exit :rotfl:

If the RGs can beat Ireland then they are a shoe-in to the semis as they will prob face Scotland or Italy in the quarters.

Hope they can keep their energy and intensity for the Irish game.

Myabe iis ouldnmt have beenm surprised at this result but after beating England last year I knew they were a good side who would only get better. I feel particulalry pleased for them because for so long they have been kept on the sidelines and not included in one of the two annual tournaments when they quite clearly deserve to be. Their domestic setup is still very amateur as are a few of their players but in the last few years they have made great strides.

Great result. When he went over for the try, I have to admit I leapt out of the chair! :D It's great to see one of the favourites taken down a peg right at the start of the tournament. Maybe, just maybe, this WC will be a bit more open?

    Good game as well! :D:thumbsup:

I disagree slightly, I think expanding the tri nations to a southern hemisphere four nations would be great for them.
