AVR600 Video Processing Issues

Trying to get to grips with a shiney new AVR600 connected to an equally shiney Pioneer LX6090.

Could anyone throw any light on the following.

1: I intend to buy a Bluray player shortly but is there a way to pass through the Bluray player 1080p signal without going through more processing by the AVR600? (i.e. switch off the processing)

When watching SD material through SkyHD box, the AVR600 scales this up to 1080p - I get two issues from this.

2: Every so often I get 2 (very close together) almost transparent lines from one side of the screen to the other moving slowly down the screen and then disappearing. Maybe every 20-30 mins. Haven't noticed it at all with scaled up 1080i.

3: The other issue: I thought 1080p from the AVR600 would be perfect for the 'dot by dot' setting of the LX6090 screen but I get a flickering top line on screen. When in 'Full' screen mode it's perfectly fine and stable?

Has anybody come across these?
