    Hello All -

I have been auditioning a set of Museatex/Meitner speaker cables for a couple of weeks now. These are a 12' pair with spades on both ends. They are from the early-mid 90's and in great shape.

I noticed a definite difference in warmth/sound stage/depth when I connected these wires to the AVR. One thing that I did notice from going between this set of wires and two other sets (Naim Naca 5 & Kimber PR8) is that the volume level on these seems lower than the others.

Is this a characteristic about these wires? Does age of the wire have anything to do with it? Resistance or other electrical characteristic?

Before I buy these I want to make sure that I am not hurting my system???

    Thanks

    Dave
