I just got my new copy of The Perfect Vision, in which they finally review the AVR300. Unfortunately, I just had a chance to skim the article, but it did receive a very favorable review. I don't know if the article is posted anywhere online yet.

From the article's conclusion..."The Arcam is at least as good as most comparably priced stereo integrated amps - and you get five extra channels and a video processor, to boot. In short, by any reasonable standard, it's a bargain."

On the upside..."Surround sound that is a cut above. Bypass that really bypasses. Worth the extra dough."

On the downside..."A little brighter and thinner sonically than high-quality separates." (The author dropped the AVR300 into his system, which normally includes a Krell KAV-280p preamplifier and a Krell KAV-2250 amp).
