Got my replacement AVR300 on Saturday.

The fans have not fired up and even made it through the hottest night of the year without being activated.

My dealer said there was a small batch which had a fault Arcam are aware.

    So everything is cool (ahem).

Thanks to Arcam for the support.

So for those of us who are registered AVR300 owners, will Arcam be contacting us if they identify that 'our' model is affected?

    TIA

No Arcam are unlikely to be able to identify if you've been given a faulty unit without you telling them. If the fans come on all the time or at least very prematurely then take it back to your dealer who will be able to arrange a replacement or repair.

I have to drive 400 miles to return mine (don't ask). I am really ****** off.

I may also reject the DV79 as a result.
