    Hello !

I use the zone 2 feature a lot and would like to request some new features.

    1. Switch the main zone on/off via an IR command. As far as I can tell this can only be done via RS232. I've tried and this works fine. The code 19 features for zone 2 work fine and I can switch zone 2 on and off via an IR command.

    2. Save the mute state at standby. An alternative is to mute zone 1 before standy. However the mute state is not saved when coming back from standby.

I really think these new features would be usefull to others as well.

    /Robin

1 - subwoofer crossover frequ adjustable for all speakers.
2 - Fm tuner that cant tune (at least) as good as a 10$ walkman
    3 - comprehensive user manual.
4 - digital signal handling without popping/cracking/cliking noise every time signal
    feed change.
5 - Power button to put the unit is stanby without the remote.

I think they could add all of this at no extra charge.

You mean that clicking/popping sound is still an issue? I don't get it - why is it that all the better sounding A/V receivers have to be plagued with annoying quirks and bugs? I want Arcam sound with Yamaha ease of operation and reliability. We're in 2006 -what's so freaking complicated?

separate subwoofer crossover for fronts, centre, rears/sides gets my vote.:lease:

My old Sony STR-DB940 used to have this feature - invaluable with 3 different speaker models in the same setup.
