AVR: Does Bi-amping fronts make a difference

    Hello,

    just as the title asks really.

    Have AVR 2309. Before I start messing, does anyone have any experience in bi-amping the fronts (in a 5-1 setup) Does it make any difference to stereo performance?

    Got round to biamping my gale floorstanders to a marantz 5003 at the weekend and it did sound alot better for music in stereo.

    Just finished doing it, it does make a difference. My wife noticed the difference straight away. More open/detailed (kefIQ5se's)!

    Yep, gotta agree with the above, it is an improvement over single amped, but the difference is quite marginal. If you have capable speakers and amp, then I'd say go for it :thumbsup:
