 Recently I got my AVR300 from the repair shop where Digital Decoder was fixed - BIG THANKS to Tim from Bristol Electronics (took only 2 weeks).
The firmware was upgraded as well as part of the repair.

After re-connecting AVR I immediately noted that now Dolby ProII Music and NEO 6 modes are available when using digital signal/input.

Prior to the repair these modes were available only from analog signal, not digital.

Also, I had to turn down volume/level on my sub -previous setting was too high/too much base.
It seems that new firmware has different sound management, and I wondwer if someone could explain the difference between old and newer firmware.

AVR was bought about 12 months ago.

    Thanks.

    P.S.

It is just great to have AVR back-I had to listen to those flat speakers that came w/ TV for 2 weeks...
