I am thinking of getting an ASD 11-R iPod dock. Does anyone have one? What does the on-screen display look like? Is the response time failry fast?Anyone have any pictures?

    Thanks in advance.

I can take a photo of mine as well if it helps. Its redimentary and functional, works ok.

Not to steal anyone's thunder, but I'll post if no one else can.

one thing btw - I bought it having seen ads that it streamed from itunes libraries as well as the local ipod. It doesnt appear to the case at all: but it does seem to be able to read from a upnp library. (I know thats unrelated but might help someone)

Thanks for that. Do you feel that browsing time is really slow or is it okay for scrooling through a large list?

pretty slow. Too slow. To avoid the worst of that, I browse folders of 30 albums held on a UPNP server, rather than by album, as would be tooo slow.

People looking for answers about ASD-11R should note that texiain is NOT talking about the ASD-11R - whatever dock *he* has is apparently network-enabled. The ASD-11R is not.
