I was looking to buy a Denon AVR 1906 and while surfing for prices saw on the AV-land web site that it has been discontinued, soon to be replaced by the AVR 1907. I've check the Denon web uk site but cannot find any info on the 1907, but it is on the USA Denon site (and the same price as the 1906).

Anyone know when this unit will be available in in uk?

Thanks

My German ain't too good so I'm struggling to see what is new - maybe an iPod dock? They are giving the 1906 away in Richer Sounds (£250) & else where at the mo - does anyone have an opinion on whether the 1907 will be a real improvement or just more creeping functionalism?

Comparing it to the 1906, the 1907 gains:-

Bit more power, Video up-conversion to Component, Denon's Ipod Dock Control, new Remote, 8CH External Input rather than 6CH, Power on Volume Level settings etc, User Modes, 0.5db adjustments on channel levels.

Denon's Ipod Dock Control and Video up-conversion are probably the most useful.
