    Hi

Just found this site so joined to try and get some advice on my set up.

I have an AVR 100 with some Celestion 551's (old but mighty!!!) for the left and right, some mission rears and a mission center (no subwoofer as the 551's do the job)

I also have an Alpha 10, some Celestion A1's and a Celestion A6s that is just sitting there at the mo!

I am considering using the Alpha 10 to drive the Left and Right, connecting my CD player, MD deck and Tape player to the Alpha 10, and the DVD player to the AVR100.

I am also considering swapping the 551’s out for the A1’s and the A6s.

I know the obvious answer try it and see but here are the questions:-

1 Is there a real sound advantage to biamping/biwiring speakers?

2 if so how would I biamp/biwire with my amp’s?

    Any advice appreciated

    Dave
