I have installed the new SS 3.2 and it wants me to initialize my HD5 which erases all the songs. Some songs I have are only on the player.
Can I avoid the initialization process?

I installed a europe version SS 3.2 because the US version does not allow me to by from it as I am outside the US.

    Help ..... :(

Weird. I have HD3, and have updated SS 3 times, 'cos it came with 2.3

I don't know the answer, sorry, but if you do a search, I remember another thread on this

I don't think there is a way around this. It's a known flaw in SonicStage but since Sony has dropped SonicStage for Connect I don't think there will be a fix for it.

I'm pretty sure if you use mp3 file manager it doesnt need to initialize it, cause i transfered songs onto my hd5 first using that, and i didnt have to initialize it. So give that a try.
