So, I just got an X1600 Pro AGP, which has AVIVO which can hardware accelerate Mpeg2/WMV/H.264 etc, and assist deinterlacing and whatnot. Great.
Now... how do I use this?! I need a capable player or Mpeg2 decoder, right?
I'm basically hoping to ditch my Oppo which is occupying the DVI port on my TV, and do it on my PC, but I've yet to find a software codec of similar quality. Was hoping this might change this.
