I need to calibrate my sony CRT tv. looks a bit off and tilts on one side and bends outwards on the other (sorry dont know the technical terms for this). Which dvd out there would be the best to calibrate my picture, not just color and sharpness, also the actual picture (straight lines etc).

I've got a feeling that of the two you mention only DVE supports PAL, anyone know different?

True. I have avia, it is only NTSC. Also good for 5.1 sound.

However, if you have a dvd player that can turn a ntsc signal to pal, you will be ok with avia.
