is the IRE100 classed as a pure 100% white screen ?on the avia test disc ?
and don't go using the Video Essentials ones they are not accurate!
Better use video essentials for grayscale calibration.
AVIA has too much green in the grayscale patterns.
Greetings from Holland,
I heard Avia shouldn't be used for grayscale and DVE should be and this was from an ISF guy.
AVIA is incorrect only on the window boxes. Video Essentials is correct. DVE is correct too. Video Essentials has incorrect 16:9 geometry patterns....Just use DVE and be happy.....I am...Then again I do seem to have 1o different copies of DVE.....
I have both Avia and DVE but I tend to use DVE more for everything, grayscale and geometry. Although DVE doesn't have full width (16:9) white screens at different ire's and If I remember right Avia does.
