I've just received a copy of AVIA (NTSC) that I bought on Ebay and I am pretty sure it is exactly that - a copy.

Other than the DVD itself, there is nothing else in the case. Shouldn't there be some coloured filters for use with the various colour test patterns.

The DVD is purple on the recorded side which to me says it's a copy. It is a good copy with quality printing on both the DVD case cover insert and the DVD itself.

Can someone please confirm the contents of the AVIA package please?

Me thinks this is going back for a refund!!

    Thanks

you have been scammed - big time

you need the RGB filters included.

    Report the seller to ELSPA.

There should be 3 colour filters (red, green and blue), and a silver disk with "Avia Guide to Home Theatre" on it, and a little instruction guide.

    Return to sender!

That's what I thought. Thanks for the replies - I have just emailed the seller requesting a full refund. I'll wait and see what happens next.

Good news is that he has already left me +ve feedback.

    Cheers

Sorted. Got a full refund already via PayPal.

Seller says he didn't realise it was a copy when he bought it off Ebay earlier in the year.

Will now have fun destroying the DVD - probably with my air rifle for some target practice.

It may not have the filters but even as a copy it will be useful, no need to destroy it.
