I am trying to do this!

I have found some software to do it, but it is quite complicated (have to decompress sound, first and then a load of other stuff)!!! And I am a fool!!

Does anyone know where I can find the software to do it, for free, and is easy to use!!

    Cheers

    Jonathan

avi to mpg converter: use tmpgenc available free from www.tmpgenc.net . It comes as a zip file. You need to unzip it to a folder of your choosing, and then create your own shortcut to the main executable (ie, it doesn't come with an installer wizard).

Use the highest quality very slow setting for your conversions to get an end result that is, in most cases, virtually free from any nasty mpeg artefacts.
