    Hi

I'm looking for the best way to convert DVD movies to AVI and store them on my PC, so that they can be played on my 360. I like the idea of having an electronic library of my DVD;s and playing movies without having to fiddle around with discs.

I've been using FairUse Wizard, but was wondering if this is the best way to achieve what I want. If this is the best method, is there a decent guide that can talk me through the settings so that I can receive optimum audio / visual performance without creating too large a file?

    Many thanks

Try the site Doom9 for a good list of guides on converting DVD's to Divx/Xvid.

Yeah, from the above site use DVD Fab Decrypter to burn to hard drive and AutoGK to convert to AVI. Works a treat.
There are a number of other threads on here explaining how to do this.
    Cheers
